Merchant Panel: Statistics Page
Another important feature of the Instabill Payment Gateway Merchant Panel is the Statistics Page. As a merchant user, you have the ability to filter your transactions and view specific entries based on search criteria you enter. The displayed data gives you information about your credit card processing history without having to crunch the numbers manually.
When you view the Statistics Page, you will see all of the Merchant IDs (or MIDs) associated with your merchant account. The search bar on the left of the page allows you to select what timeframe and statistics you wish to display.
Statistics Page Search Options:
- Timeframe
- Transaction type
- Transaction volume
- Declines
- Refunds
- Chargebacks
For most types of transactions, you can display the volume and the total number of successful transactions during the chosen period. For example, if you've successfully captured (CP) two approved pre-authorizations (PA) for $199.99 each in the searched timeframe, then your total volume will display as $399.98. Keep in mind that all transactions using the same MID and currency will show up on the same row.
Two transactions using the same MID, but different processing currencies will appear separately. A row will appear for every currency you process in, even if there are no available transactions for the searched timeframe. If you process payments in AUD, but there are no search results, a row will appear listing the MID and AUD, but zero transactions and zero volume.
