Affordable EMV POS Terminals

Our network of retail banking partners allows us to offer a large variety of point-of-sale/POS terminals from the top brands: Verifone, Ingenico, HyperCom and Dejavoo. Instabill also offers EMV POS terminals including:

  • Mobile EMV POS Solution: This POS solution, announced in February, bring new meaning to the term ‘mobile,’ as it is ideal for merchants on the go.

Inform your merchant account manager which POS solution is ideal for your business and we will ship it to your store or office.

POS Credit Card Processing Options

Although most cardholders most often pay with a Visa, MasterCard or American Express, you should also prepare your storefront business to accept a variety of credit card brands. To accommodate all of your customers, you should work with a swipe merchant service provider that offers a wide range of POS credit card processing options. With a retail merchant account from Instabill, you can accept most any debit and credit card brands worldwide through a series of partnerships we have including:

  • American Express
  • China UnionPay
  • JCB
  • Discover
  • Diner’s Club

Fees for Retail Merchant Accounts

Rates and fees for our retail merchant accounts are affordable and competitive in the credit card processing industry. However, exact rates and merchant account fees are determined by your domestic acquiring banking partner and contingent upon several factors:

  • Industry type
  • Credit card processing history
  • Monthly processing volume
  • Average ticket size

Merchant Account Application Process

The merchant account application process is quick and easy. Once you submit your application to your merchant account manager, we will match you with a domestic acquiring bank that best fits your needs. Upon the bank’s approval of your retail merchant account, we will ship your POS terminal to your store or office. After you program your POS terminal and connect it to your merchant account, you will be able to accept credit card payments.

To expedite the underwriting process, view our merchant account application checklist.

Merchant Settlement Schedules

Similar to your merchant account fees, many factors determine your merchant settlement schedule. Each of our domestic acquiring banking partners has its own method of determining when you will receive your settlement. However, all banks consider the following features of your business.

  • Business and industry type
  • Monthly processing volume
  • How long you’ve been in business
  • Credit card processing history
  • Chargeback and refund ratio

Most merchant settlements are daily, one or two days in arrears. Your Instabill merchant account manager will inform you of your settlement schedule once the acquiring bank approves your retail merchant account application.
